I have been a Baptist Minister in N Ireland for the last thirty years. Having lived through one of the most violent periods in our history it has been necessary to work at the coal face for most of the time. I have a wide experience in church work including preaching; counselling; children and young people; men and women's groups; outreach to children and adults; evangelism through church missions and tents together with door to door work and open air campaigns. I have been involved in renovation and the building of new churches

I am married to Carole and have two children Andrew and Sharon and two small grandchildren, Lisa and Gareth. My wife and I have a retirement home in lovely Portstewart on the north coast and we are happy to let it out to Christian folks so that they can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

My main purpose for posting this page is to help young men in their preparation to preach the greatest message in the world and to provide seasoned preachers with sermon material. Knowing how demanding the ministry is my efforts with this page will be well rewarded if others are encouraged and helped in their service for the Master.
